In recent years to preserve the environment even many OEM manufactures are now offering remanufactured toner cartridges. A recent study show the likes of Lexmark and HP now will supply remanufactured toners to large Corporate Company’s, this technology  is now available for the likes of Greentech and Richo  and we would say that the quality of both colour and greyscale prints achieved by the these Company’s is equivalent to the quality that of OEM’s Branded Cartridges achieve.

Image Drum units (OPC Drums) these should always be replaced with brand new ones. The Drum unit is the highest replacement cost part of the whole cartridge, but is equally the part that determines the print quality performance of your cartridge. All cartridges can deposit some toner ink inside the printer, and many of the new printers have a waste toner collection box to collect this. Correctly remanufactured toner cartridges will not damage printers or create more wear than cartridges that are properly assembled by or from OEM printer manufactures. Removing waste toner is often part of routine maintenance for the printer according to the instruction manual.
